Joseph Johnson is the son of Darren and Ali Johnson and has been acting and dancing since the age of 4. He studies Ballet, Tap and Modern at Ellite studios in Wakefield and is currently working at grade 5 level ISTD in all styles.

Previous theatre experience includes pantomime performances as a member of the chorus in “Sleeping Beauty”, “Cinderella”, “Aladdin” and “Jack & The Beanstalk” all at Theatre Royal Wakefield.

He is a member of Wakefield Performance Academy and has played various roles in the showcase productions including solo numbers from “Singing in the Rain” and “Hamilton”.

In 2018 he played the role of Gavroche in the Theatre Royal Wakefield Schools production of “Les Miserables”.

Joseph is very proud to be a founder member of the D-Day Juniors who recently appeared on ITV's "Britain's Got Talent" where the group received a standing ovation from all four judges

As well as being a popular pantomime dame Darren has appeared and toured in productions the length and breadth of the country including, “Marat Sade” at the Playhouse Theatre and "Blood Wedding" at the Bloomsbury Theatre both in London’s West End, "Hamlet " at the Sheffield Crucible, "Nash" at The West Yorkshire Playhouse, and played the title role of Tony in "Tony And Tina’s Wedding" at The English Theatre Frankfurt. 

Darren has appeared on our television screens in a number of guises over the years, most notably as PC Henshaw, one of Coronation Streets longest serving bobbies.  Other television appearances include playing Billy in “Where The Heart is”, PC McMahon in “Emmerdale” and “The Royal” all for ITV. “Cardiac Arrest” and “Crimewatch” for the BBC. More recently Darren was delighted to be asked to appear in an episode of Justin’s House for CBeebies performing a quick change routine in an episode called “Super Justin”.

Elizabeth graduated from Rose Bruford College in 1996, and has since worked as a professional actor with many theatre companies, including most recently with Derby Theatre playing The Duchess in "Alice In Wonderland" and Mrs Darling and Tiger Lily in "Peter Pan"

Other productions include "The Hare & The Tortoise" and "The Kite Runner" at Nottingham Playhouse, "An August Bank Holiday Lark" with Northern Broadsides, "We Will Be Free" with Townsend Productions, directed by Richard Stone, "A Christmas Carol" at Lincoln Theatre Royal, "The Musicians Of Bremen" with Rude Mechanical Theatre Company, the Nuffield Theatre, Southampton, as well as tours with Mikron Theatre company

Elizabeth was nominated for a Best Actress award by 'The Stage' newspaper, at the Edinburgh Festival 2013, for 'We Will Be Free' with Townsend Productions.

Richard Stone
Director / Musical Director

Richard has worked as an Actor, Director, Writer, Composer and Musical Director for the past 43 years, in venues such as the Crucible Theatre, Derby Playhouse, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Birmingham Rep, Half Moon, Mermaid Theatre, The Young Vic and York Theatre Royal.

 TV work, as an actor, includes CRACKER, LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE, TOUCH OF FROST, CITY CENTRAL, MERSEYBEAT,HOLLYOAKS,VINCENT and THE STREET. Played Alison Webster’s Dad on CORONATION STREET and the infamous Health Inspector on EMMERDALE.

 Director of the Chesterfield Pomegranate New Playwrights Festival for 11 years and wrote several plays for the Pomegranate and on tour.

Much work with young people, including Course Director for the Prince's Trust Drama Live residential course.

Adam McCready is a composer, sound designer and musician known mostly for his work on theatre and dance productions. In addition to his theatrical work he has also created several multi-speaker, interactive sound installations for galleries and museums as well as creating music scores for small independent films and sound designs and composition on many audio drama and podcast series. His sound design work has varied in scale from small rural touring productions to large scale commercial West End and touring musicals and site specific outdoor community productions. Prior to becoming a sound designer Adam was a sound operator and head of department on many long running musical theatre productions including CATS, Fame, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Whistle Down the Wind, Blood Brothers and Little Shop of Horrors. Adam was also Head of Sound for the female Hockey tournament at the London 2012 Olympics. Aside from his composition skills Adam is a specialist programmer of show control software for live performance triggering, sequencing and manipulation of sound, lighting and video elements.
